Where is the origin of the plot to usurp the imperial throne by Michiko and Kawashima Tatsuhiko, Kiko's father?

What formed Michiko's resentment?

What was it that formed the grudge in Empress Michiko that has led to her persistent and abnormal bullying of Crown Princess Masako, and even her plot to transfer the imperial succession to Prince Akishino's family, now that she reigns over the imperial family as the female emperor? It may have originated from the magma-like grudge she held against the Showa Emperor and Empress Kojun. Even from reading a portion of the diary of Chamberlain Irie Sukemasa, we can glimpse Michiko's twisted psychology (at the time she was the Crown Princess). So, what was it that formed this grudge?

What can be understood from Irie's diary is that at that time, most of the attendants who were close to the Emperor and Empress were from the (former) Imperial and noble families. It can be imagined that it was difficult for Michiko, a new commoner, to fit in there.

Did she receive support from GHQ and have a smooth sailing start?

However, there seems to be a point where Empress Michiko herself was not particularly "worried" about it before her entry into the imperial family. The widely spread "tennis court love" is fiction, and in reality, it was an arranged marriage proposal that was proposed by Koizumi Shinzo, who collaborated with GHQ. Wasn't it the truth that Emperor Hirohito could not strongly oppose it? It could be said that the marriage was arranged by the support of GHQ with Koizumi, who were a Catholics, and the Shoda family, who were also Catholics. With the backing of the winner, the American outpost agency GHQ, and the support of Christianity, the defeated Japan was easily swayed, and Michiko entered the imperial family.

Frustration towards the imperial family members who opposed Michiko's entry into the Imperial Household

However, once she entered, her arrogance was brought down a notch. Almost everyone around her, from servants to attendants, were (former) imperial or aristocratic. They all tried to modify her behavior.

Upon reflection, the strong concerns and opposition from the imperial family, especially from the then Empress, regarding Michiko's entry into the Imperial household were very justified. The strong sense of caution and disgust towards Michiko, who tried to sow the seeds of the collapse of the Imperial system, was instinctual and went beyond reason.

However, this "missionary" was not content with that. Everything she did (or tried to do) was to break traditional customs and introduce norms (rules) that aligned with her values into the imperial family. One of these was the "Naruchan Constitution" and the "private kitchen at the Togu Palace." The Naruchan Constitution and the Kitchen were part of a publicity campaign that the media fell for hook, line, and sinker at the time. Too bad for them! But this is something we have to say to ourselves (tears). When creating this kind of new vs. old confrontation, the advantage is always on the side of the "new." When Grand Chamberlain Irie told her, "I must tell you that 99.9% of the people support you unequivocally," it was because he knew her strategy (and pretended to go along with it).

The Emperor Showa and Empress Kojun were wary of Michiko

However, the Emperor and Empress did not fall for it. Rather, they avoided her. It was because it was too vulgar, too worldly. The Imperial Family is not Hollywood. They should not be exposed to the public eye like movie stars!

The revenge plot against the Imperial Family, together with comrade Tatsuhiko Kawashima

As her strategy failed and the Imperial Household did not turn out as she had hoped, her anger towards them continued to build up. This anger has now taken the form of revenge, which is the current situation, in my opinion. In this revenge plot, there was a supporting actor, Kiko's father, Tatsuhiko Kawashima. The two share the same goal. To promote the "Suihei(水平)" thought of the "Buraku-Kaihou Domei" and "Chosen Soren" and to take over the Imperial Family. Their goal is to overthrow the current imperial family and take revenge on the Imperial Household.

The source of Michiko's grudge is her origin

The source of everything can be traced back to the resentment of Michiko's origins. It is deeply related to two things: being a Christian and being a new commoner(被差別部落民). I have discussed the issue of being a Christian in a previous article. The problem lies with being a new commoner. Let me provide one testimony.

Did the members of the Imperial family who learned about Michiko's background feel peaceful? No, they did not. If Michiko had been a humble person and had tried to fit into the Imperial family, it might have been different. However, in reality, she exposed herself to the media like a Hollywood star and degraded the sacred Imperial family to the level of a cabaret.

Empress Kojun, who was a pure-blooded member of the Imperial family, must have had enough. She probably showed her dissatisfaction through her attitude, but Michiko was not someone who would accept that. She protested to Chamberlain Irie, "What else do you have against me except that I am a commoner?" At this time, was the Crown Prince, her husband, reduced to being a puppet? It's pathetic.

The Empress's revenge against the Imperial Family continues to this day

The revenge of the Empress against the Imperial Family had begun even before she teamed up with Kawashima Tatsuhiko. The trigger for it was the birth of Prince Akishino? As previously mentioned on this blog, he is not the face of the Imperial Family. He is the spitting image of Michiko's brother-in-law, Anzai Takayuki. I strongly urge DNA testing. It should never be allowed for the Empress to manipulate the Imperial Family as she pleases and to ultimately elevate a man or his son who is not of the Imperial lineage to the position of Emperor.

Although it has been posted several times on this blog, I would like to once again post comparison photos between Prince Akishino and Michiko's brother-in-law, Takayuki Anzai, as well as strikingly similar comparison photos between Anzai's maternal grandfather, Nobuteru Mori, and Princess Mako.
